And the result is often breathtaking. * Novaro's unique style has become well known for its weight, depth and multiple layers of color with clear glass, an effect requiring exquisite talent. Novaro has often incorporated gold leaf into his glass. He even invented new techniques which he patented, such as painting between layers of glass, and was the first to incorporate luminescent elements. * * * In recognition of his outstanding talent, the French government honored Novaro by awarding him the "Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres" (Knight of Arts and Humanities). * * Novaro's work has appeared at over 100 solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
