Aykroyd’s screen-worn coat from the 1991 film Nothing but Trouble, starring Aykroyd (who also wrote and directed the film), and co-starring Chevy Chase, John Candy, and Demi Moore. Brown plaid tweed period frock coat has two sets of brown velvet buttons, with a small name tag sewn into the inside breast pocket, with Aykroyd’s name, as well as a Warner Bros. bar code label affixed to the inside lining at the shoulder, and # 2 written on the inside lining. Worn in his role as Judge Valkenheiser during the famous dinner scene of the movie, later on in the fight with Chevy Chase after he finds him snooping around his room, and also in the courtroom scene that follows. Costume design by Deborah Nadoolman Landis. In fine condition.
