Northwest Coast Carved Wood Totem Pole by Elmer Thompson of Tillicum Village (1937-2007), measures 7'' x 11'' x 2'' and is signed on the back, FYI: Elmer Thompson (1937 - 2007), of the Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Dididat, Nuu-chah-nulth Nation, was an accomplished carver as well as a speaker, singer, and cultural leader. His artistic accomplishments included drum making as well as carving masks, totem poles and canoes. His career spanned over thirty years and his artwork is exhibited worldwide.''
