<B>Northumberland, PA</B></I> - $2 Original Fr. 387 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # 566<BR>This <B>Fine</B></I> Lazy Two is one of just four traced from here. This bank was in business for just 12 years before closing its doors in 1876 after issuing the Original and 1875 Series notes only. Just $1,258 of its issue was still in the hands of the public when the end came. We do note that there are a few repairs and reinforcements about the margins and that the back has faded somewhat. The face, however, appears much nicer and the original black ink signatures remain very strong.
