This is an original work of art done by the Sioux Native American's showing pictorial primitive drawings. This feature a unique story with an Indian Chief wearing a headdress, war shield, moccasins, war shirt, and leggings on horseback throwing a spear at what appears to be a Mohawk Indian with bow in war dress. This was done on old Ledger paper that is in the style of being over 100 years old. The original ledger book was most likely traded to the Sioux Tribe and was believed to be drawn in circa 1890's-1940's. This is truly an American work of art and a rare piece showing great action and drawn at a time when the Native American's were at the end of the war path. The piece comes unframed for inspection and is in good condition. Measures 10.5"x13.75". This comes in a black case with glass top measures 12.25"x16.25"
