Stock certificate for four hundred and five shares issued to THOMAS ALEXANDER SCOTT (1823-1881) President of the Pennsylvania Railroad, at the time the largest corporation in the world. In addition, Scott took a leading role in crafting what became the Compromise of 1877. Orange / Black. Vignette of locomotive at top center. Vignette of Frederick Billings at bottom center.
