Issued to and signed on verso by RICHARD B. MELLON (d. 1933). Banker. Along with his brother Andrew, Richard provided much of the funding for his son William’s early development and growth of the family’s oil interests. He served as president of Mellon National Bank.Light punch and stamp cancellations not affecting Mellon’s signature on verso. . Very fine.
