This is an excellent fully beaded glass bottle from the Northern Cheyenne Native American Indians dating to the late 19th Century. The turn of the century early Reservation piece shows a blown glass bottle covered in tent trade canvas muslin which has been fully accented by glass trade seed beadwork of the period in typical highly detailed geometric beadwork of the Cheyenne. The beadwork shows colors of chalk white, black, greasy yellow, greasy blue and rose. The bottle also has the original hide tie strap. Provenance: From a historic Eastern Montana American Indian Collection, where the piece was found to be an authentic original, one of the finest collections of American Indian weaponry and antiquities in Montana. Measures 4.75”H by 3 7/8”W and 9.75”H with strap.
