This company had a furnace built in 1890 for the production of pig iron. It replaced the defunct and mis-managed Georgia-Alabama Investment and Development Company. [Engineering and Mining Journal, Volume 56] This new company didn't seem to fair much better. From 1893 to 1897 there didn't seem to be any production. with these two companies, Tallapoosa's attempts as a manufacturing center seemed to have died. This stock has a green background. 4) 4471 issued to Whiteford. Also in green. 5) 1893 letterhead. Addressed to Whiteford about stocks he has purchased and transferred.
