North African Jambiya dagger decorated with shells and scabbard. The dagger is 14 ½” in total length with a 10” blade. The blade is a grey patina with surface rust, small mars and sharpening evident. The blade has has ascroll etching covering ¾ of its length. The handguard is hammered silver and the handle is completely covered with small shells. The scabbard has hammered silver style metal work at the throat and toe with the remainder covered with small shells. An extremely ornate example of the North African Jambiya. Est.: $200-$400.
