Celebrated painter and illustrator, Norman Rockwell ''Four Freedoms'' poster set. The four prints, issued as war bond posters, are WWII reproductions of his oil paintings for ''The Saturday Evening Post'' during 1943. The theme was derived from Roosevelt's 1941 State of the Union address, where the President asserted that humans are entitled to the freedoms of speech and worship and from fear and want. Posters each measure 20'' x 27.5''. Some toning, folds and slight separation to fold intersections, else near fine.
