Breathtaking scene!</em></td>

<td width="100%">
Beautiful Noritake scenic condiment set consisting of salt, pepper, mustard jar with lid and the under tray. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. The mustard jar has the Noritake 1918 stamp, the salt and pepper simply say Japan and the under tray has a handwritten date of September 12th, 1927.

Because the backstamp on the mustard jar is definitely from 1918, I believe that the undertray may have been added later. The gold on the tops of the salt and pepper and the rim of the mustard jar and the finial on the lid are pristine. The salt and pepper have the cork stoppers. The painted scene has absolutely no wear whatsoever.

There is one flaw to this set - a tight hairline that runs 1-5/8" diagonal on the back of the mustard jar and continues on the bottom for another 1-1/8" (as shown in the photo). It certainly does not detract at all from the beauty of this piece as seen from the front. No chips.
