<td width="100%">
After WWII, Noritake carried the mark made in occupied Japan from 1945 until 1952. This china was collected and used some but not much. One of the saucers has an extremely small chip but otherwise the rest of the 8 place settings and serving pieces are pristene. There are two other cups one being chipped that come with the set. The set also contains two oval serving bowls (only one is shown in the picture) and one round vegetable bowl; one platter; a sugar and footed creamer set and a gravey boat with attached plate. All in a lovely porcelain with a creamy band with a moss rim with intricate detailing, gold highlighting and beautiful flowers typical of the period, not just in Noritake but in German, French and English porcelain. This well cared for set is excellent and can put to shame things made today. Each place setting contains one cup and saucer, one salad plate, one bread and buter dish, one fruit bowl, one soup bowl, and one dinner plate and there are 8 complete place settings. The shipping on this setting with insurance is $350. That is very high, but you may arrange your own shipping and insurance. Our insurance will be UPS packaging, shipping and insurance.
