<B>Nolar Miller Designed Sequined Gown in Cream Chiffon and Taffeta for Sophia Loren.</B></I> Ca.1985; Silk chiffon, silk taffeta, sequins, and jewels; Label: Nolan Miller Couture; Dress Size: 6/8.<BR><BR>Floor-length strapless gown in cream chiffon and taffeta with a fitted, boned bodice that comes down to a "V" waist. Attached at the upper edge of the bodice, the sleeve is stiffened to stand-up. The sleeve tapers to the wrist with two snaps at the closure. The chiffon bodice and sleeves are ornamented with sequins in radiating bursts accented with half "pearls" and "jewels." The neckline, sleeves and waist are finished with silk taffeta piping. The bodice is lined with charmeuse and the sleeves in silk chiffon. The back center is closed with a zipper and hook & eye, and reinforced with a series of seven hook & eyes, the hooks on ribbon extenders. The full floor-length skirt is evenly gathered along the waist and is lined in silk satin.<BR><BR>Included with this lot is a color reproduced portrait of Sophia Loren wearing this gown. Very Fine condition with some soiling to the inner hem. <I>From the Nolan Miller Collection.</B></I><B>Condition Report:</B> Normal signs of wear as appropriate with age.
