<B>Nolan Miller Designed Dressing Gown and Negligee with a Double, Worn by Yvette Mimieux in her Role as Natacha Rambova in <I>The Legend of Valentino.</B></I></B></I> 1975; Dressing Gown: chiffon, netting, cotton lace, satin ribbon; Negligee: charmeuse, cotton lace, satin ribbon; Label: Nolan Miller; Dress Size: 4/6.<BR><BR>Flowing floor-length peach chiffon dressing gown, the bodice is long waisted, with netted embroidered panels. The collar extends as a sash to close the front opening. The upper sleeve is narrow and covered with embroidered netting. At the elbow, the sleeve flares, extending on the inside seam to the floor. The net panels are edged in cream lace with an inner woven peach satin ribbon.<BR><BR>The peach charmeuse A-line negligee is floor-length with an inset embroidered net "V" at the bodice, the embroidering flowing over the edge of the netting. The negligee closes at the left side seam with four hooks & eyes and four snaps. The second negligee is identical to the first except that it is closed with three snaps and a hook & eye. It has an additional snap back attached next to the left strap back.<BR><BR>In Very Good condition overall, though the chiffon of the dressing gown is deteriorating at the shoulders and upper back. It would benefit from restoration or could be used as display art. The second negligee is missing the hook & eyes that were originally between the snaps of the side closure. <I>From the Nolan Miller Collection.</B></I><B>Condition Report:</B> Normal signs of wear as appropriate with age. The chiffon of the dressing gown is desicating at the shoulders and upper back.
