<B>Nolan Miller Designed Masquerade Mask in Red Sequins and Beads with a Feather Plume.</B></I> Ca. 1986; Ostrich feathers, sequins, roacaille beads, white and red faceted jewels in round, rectangular and tear drop, felt, elastic; Label: Nolan Miller; 8" wide, 19" high.<BR><BR>This mask, designed in a leaf form in felt is covered with red sequins. The eyes are lined in a string of white prong-set jewels. Each "leaf" tip is highlighted with a faceted tear drop. Going up the forehead from the eyes to the plume base is a series of faceted tear-drop beads framed with leaves created in white and red rocaille beads. The ostrich feather plume has a line of white prong-set jewels and red sequins on front and back and attached loose strings of beads. The back exposes the glue that secures the design. At the top is a netting hook for hanging and at eye level are net hoops holding an elastic to secure the mask when worn. In Fine condition.
