<B>Nolan Miller Belted, White Beaded Gown Designed for Joan Collins in her Role as Alexis in <I>Dynasty.</B></I></B></I> Ca. 1985; Gown: silk chiffon, bugle beads; Label: Nolan Miller; Dress Size: 6/8.<BR><BR>Belted, white chiffon beaded floor-length gown with wide scooped neckline front and back. The full sleeve is gathered at the shoulder and sightly tapers to wrist, which has a two-snap closure. The bodice is closed with a center back zipper and secured with a hook & eye. The skirt front is pleated, the opposing pleats meeting at the center. A slit, rounded at the hem, rises from the center of the skirt to mid-thigh height. The gown is finished with a "V" front belt. The gown and belt are hand beaded. At the neckline and wrist edge are five rows of bugle beads. The bodice, sleeves and skirt are beaded in vertical stings of white bugle beads with 1/4" spacing between rows. The belt has random overall beading in white bugle beads, and is edged in three rows of bugle beads. The gown is fully lined with white chiffon, with a series of snaps tied into the lining to secure lingerie straps, and an elastic strip running from shoulder to zipper in a "catch" stitch.<BR><BR>Nolan Miller designed this gown worn by Joan Collins for her role as "Alexis" on <I>Dynasty.</B></I> Included in this lot is a reproduced color image of Joan Collins wearing the gown, standing next to Elizabeth Taylor at a dinner for Princess Margret. Very Fine condition with yellowed spot at the back top right of the skirt and some very faint discoloration on the skirt front.
