In part: “In reply to your letter, I am very sorry but I am afraid I must again refuse your request. I would like to make my reasons clear to you and I hope you will understand my point of view. Apart from the fact that I want any revivals of my plays that may take place to be at fairly long intervals, my personal feeling for THE VORTEX is such that I definitely do not want it revived until such time as I can be associated with it myself.” In very good condition, with scattered creasing, paperclip impression to upper left corner, intersecting folds with one passing through his signature, light soiling, and a PSA/DNA authentication label affixed to the letter; accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
