Fascinating lot of three booklets for Nobel Prize for Physics lectures, each 6.5 x 9.75, individually signed and inscribed on the front covers in blue or black ink by Robert Andrews Millikan, Arthur H. Compton, and Carl D. Anderson. Booklets include: Millikan’s 1924 address of “The Electron and the Light-Quant from the Experimental Point of View”; Compton’s 1927 address for “X-Rays as a Branch of Optics”; and Anderson’s 1936 lecture for “The Production and Properties of Positrons.” In overall fine condition, with some light toning to the covers.
