Includes: (1) 8'' x 10.5'' typed letter signed ''Dick'' as U.S. Congressman, dated 3 January 1949 discussing the Young Republicans of Los Angeles: ''…I have been following the publicity on the Young Republican organization in the Los Angeles papers and believe me you fellows must be doing a magnificent job in waking up the party…''; (2) 8'' x 10.5'' typed letter signed ''Dick'' as U.S. Congressman, dated 28 March 1949 congratulating Holt for becoming the new president of the Young Republicans of California: ''…I would be glad to contribute a letter or an article on either the new labor bill or on the Un-American activities subject…''; (3) 8'' x 10.5'' typed letter signed ''Dick'' as U.S. Congressman, dated 31 July 1950 discussing the progress of different voting districts in California: ''…one thing that I learned in looking over the San Diego County report was that our work in the outlying cities and towns really paid off…''; (4) 8'' x 10'' photo signed and inscribed as Vice President elect: ''To Joe Holt / With all good wishes from Richard Nixon / Jan 6, 1953''; (5) 7.25'' x 10.5'' typed letter signed ''Dick'', dated 14 November 1967 on ''Richard Nixon / 20 Broad Street / New York, New York'' stationery before deciding to run for President: ''…I would be most interested to get your views on Vietnam…''; (6) ''Nixon for U.S. Senator'' business card (7) Pat Nixon 6'' x 9.5'' typed letter signed ''Pat'', dated 18 February 1971 on White House stationery, with original envelope.
