This set of Nippon salt-and-pepper shakers is beautiful in its relative simplicity to other Nippon designs. It shows the hand-painted gold moriage gilt on alabaster white porcelain and is shaped for an easy grip for table use. The gold moriage has been used to separate the sections of the white alabaster to add to its overall beauty.

The shakers are each 2 1/2 inches high with a 1 7/8-inch base and a 1 3/8-inch top. They came with cork stoppers although one of the original corks is missing and has been replaced.
