<B>Ninth Plate Daguerreotype of a Gentleman (Krainik 403),</B></I> ca. early 1850s, brass mat stamped “<I>W H White</B></I>” in lower right corner. White was an early photographer in Richmond, Indiana. The image is in a thermoplastic case embossed with a fruit basket on both sides, <I>Krainik 403</B></I>. Moderate discoloration and some fading to image. The case has normal wear.
