<B>Ninth Plate Daguerreotype and Tintype (Krainik 560/559),</B></I> paired in double thermoplastic case embossed with “A Family Party”, <I>Krainik 560</B></I>, on the lid and “Children Playing With Toys, <I>Krainik 559</B></I>, on the back. Since this is an unusual combination of types from different eras, the pair of images likely depicts a mother and son rather than a married couple. The daguerreotype is of a young woman, ca. early 1850s, whereas the tintype is of an 1870s gentleman.
