Nineteenth Century or earlier Cloisonné and wood nobleman’s saddle, approx. 18” long, 14” wide at lower cantle, 12” wide at front of saddle, 10” in height in front; overall good condition considering age with some losses to cloisonné but approx. 90% still intact; fine workmanship with material confined to the front and back of the saddle; bare wood showing on the seat proper; a seldom found artifact of the Orient.
