Her <I>Nana </B></I>series of female subjects in outrageously modern contortions brought her wide acclaim. A Niki Museum at Nasu, Japan opened four years ago after an extensive exhibition of her work at the Nagoya City Art Museum just after she received the Praemium Imperial Prize for Sculpture at the Tate Modern at London as sponsored by the Japan Art Association. <BR><BR>This <I>Nana </B></I>sculpture is a study for a larger piece and is a rare piece of Nikis modern art in this size.
