Night Has a Thousand Eyes (Paramount, 1948). One Sheet Night Has a Thousand Eyes (Paramount, 1948).
Night Has a Thousand Eyes (Paramount, 1948). One Sheet (27" X 41"). John Farrow, father of Mia, directed this noirish supernatural suspense tale, adapted from the Cornell Woodrich novel. John Triton (Edward G. Robinson) experiences premonitions, but when he realizes that his prophecies cannot prevent the tragic events that would befall his loved ones, he becomes a hermit. Years later he has new visions which involve his daughter, an heiress (Gail Russell) who has attempted suicide, and her fiancée (John Lund). Can Triton fight the tide of time and prevent the agony foretold? Will he always feel responsible for his impotence at altering the fate of others? Will his gift ever benefit him, perhaps in sports betting or the ways of women? This one sheet has cross-fold separation and fold-line wear, with multiple pinholes and a few tears in the borders, one which extends into the artwork. The image looks clean, and one can easily predict that the poster will display very well. Fine+
