<B>Nickel Comics #1 Davis Crippen ("D" Copy) pedigree (Fawcett, 1940) CGC VG/FN 5.0 Off-white pages.</B></I> Bulletman made his first appearance here. The issue also has the origin of that Fawcett stalwart. The book's an interesting experiment: half the price of the usual comic, appearing twice as often (every two weeks), and with half the content (though 32 pages were the standard for all comics eventually). While this title was short-lived, Bulletman went on to be the star of <B>Master Comics</B></I> and even had his own title for a while. The cover of this premiere issue is by Jack Binder. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $800; FN 6.0 value = $1,200.
