<B>George V silver Waitangi Proof Set 1935,</B></I> KM-PS3, mintage of only 364 pieces of each denomination included in the set (KM-1/6) -- crown, halfcrown, florin, shilling, sixpence and threepence. This appears to be an original set because the color is a consistent "premium silvery gray" -- the color that is most natural to these coins of .500-fineness. The crown is a Gem Proof, halfcrown choice because slightly dull, florin Gem Proof, shilling choice but for a light scratch in front of the portrait, sixpence Gem Proof, threepence choice but for a faint obverse field scratch just off the king's chin. Included is the original red Government cardboard case of issue. All in all, exceptional, rare and desirable.
