<B>New York Patriot Alexander McDougall Partly-Printed Document Signed,</B></I> "<I>Alex McDougall</B></I>", two pages, 7" x 11", New York City, July 24, 1760. McDougall here signs as witness to a £500 bond placed with the crown by the schooner <I>Charming Polly</B></I> prior to her voyage up the coast. Manuscript portions of the document somewhat faded, else fine condition.<BR>Alexander McDougall (1732-1786) was a New York merchant who became increasingly angry over Britain's financial pressures on the colonists.
