Manuscript DS, one page both sides, 8 x 5.75, April 7, 1790. Receipt of payment, in full: “Rec’d April 7th 1790 from Gerard Bancker Treas. Ten pounds ten shillings in full for the within account, £10.10.0.” Signed at the conclusion by Morris. Reverse bears pay order docketing notations in another hand, “To General Lewis Morris for his services in Canvassing the Votes for Members to the General Government, also for Governor, Lieut. Governor & Members of the Senate.” Professionally inlaid into a slightly larger sheet. In fine condition.
