<B>New Jersey May 1, 1758 $3 Extremely Fine.</B></I> This is a splendid example from this much scarcer early New Jersey issue from which notes are usually found in the VG grade range or lower. In fact Friedberg does not even list a value above VG, just the comments, "Rare" and "Very Rare" for the VF and Unc grades. The signatures are above average, but the border printing shows a little weakness.
