You are bidding on an early Twentieth Century wall Clock manufactured by New Haven Clock Co. The New Haven Clock Company started in 1853 mass producing brass movements for a local clock maker. In 1856 the company bought the clock maker out and started making clocks under their own name. In its heyday, New Haven Clock Company was the leading manufacturer of American clocks. The company went out of business in 1960. This wall clock is made of American Walnut and features an ivory colored dial with Roman numerals. The glass door features a painted decorative design. The woodwork also has some decorative scroll work It originally had six decorative finials, however all but one is missing. The clock does come with two winding keys and does work. Other than the missing finials, the clock is in good condition for its age. Its measurements are 30.25" tall and 12.75" wide. It stands 4" out from the wall.
