<B>New Comics #1 (DC, 1935) CGC VG 4.0 Cream to off-white pages.</B></I> What serious DC collector could pass up the first issue of DC's second series? This is in fact the series that became <B>Adventure Comics</B></I>, one of the longest-running series in the history of comics. This ultra-early DC appeared more than a year earlier than <B>Detective Comics</B></I> #1, in fact the only two series that predate it (by <I>any</B></I> publisher) are <B>New Fun Comics</B></I> and <B>Famous Funnies</B></I>. This key debut issue is ranked among the 100 most valuable comic books by Overstreet. The cover art is by Vin Sullivan. There's a minor crack at the top left corner of the CGC casing. Overstreet 2006 VG 4.0 value = $5,850.
