Inc. in Utah Territory. No. 317, issued for 5,000 shares to CH Springer on Sept. 18th, 1881 in Salt Lake City. Signed by vice president John S. Barnes and secretary CE Barnes. Not cancelled. Very ornate black border and print, eagle vignette. C. Graham & Co., Printers. 5 x 10" Horizontal fold, light wear. Reported on by Hollister in "The Resources and Attractions of Utah" (1882). Hollister notes that they own the Lakawaxen claim. In 1882, they are driving a tunnel to intersect the vein at a depth of 500 ft. below outcroppings.
