The embossing in this mould may refer to one of two companies: The Hamburg Mining Company (incorporated 26 May 1875) of Eureka, Nevada, or the Hamburg Mines Company (incorporated 22 June 1916), of Pioche, Nevada. This hefty bullion mould is 29” long, 5.5” wide, and 4.5” tall. The bottom is reverse embossed “HAMBURG M. CO.” This mould was likely used to produce lead or silver bullion. - Jacobitz Collection -60284
