Hazen was the closest stop of the Churchill County mines and the mines and mining camps were hungry from lumber. From Rawhide; Wonder Lumber Company and two 1907 handwritten Hazen Lumber Company billheads. These are very early Rawhide. “There is a thousand people here & the camp looks like a winner. High grade is constantly being found in new ground & lots of work is going on by small leasers.” From Fallon/Wonder two Tonopah Lumber Co. letterheads. From Truckee, California three different Truckee Lumber Co. letterheads.
