Lot of 6: 1) 11.5", with chrome top, by 4". Siphon tube cracked. “Carson Brewing Co.” silk screened within a blue, 3-ring border. Script “Carson City” and plain “Nevada” silk screened below logo. Clear glass, no chips. White powder and flakes in interior. The Carson Brewing Company was “certainly one of the first breweries in the State of Nevada, established in 1860 by John Wagner & Co. at about the same time the Pioneer Brewery was built in Carson City." Rare, may date from the late prohibition period. 2) 11.5", with top, missing its screw-on cap, by 4". “Silver State” engraved on the top, siphon tube intact. “Wieland/ Bottling Works/ Reno, Nev.” etched on front. Footed bottom etched with ornate winged-shield maker’s mark and “Made in Austria.” Clear glass, several small bubbles throughout, and heavy interior residue. Rare. 3) 11.5", with top, by 4". “T.S.W. CO.” engraved on the top, intact siphon tube. “Wieland Bottling Works/ Reno, Nev.” etched on the bottle’s front. Front center etched “H.C./ Heidtmann/ Phone 109.” No maker’s mark. Clear glass, very little wear, stained interior. Harry C. Heidtmann managed the Wieland Saloon for Otto Benschuetz during the 1910s. Rare. 4) 9" tall by 4" wide, holds 8 oz less than larger bottles. Top and siphon tube are missing. Etched front, “G.A.K.” in large block letters. Footed, no maker's mark. Gus Krenkle produced this small seltzer bottle for the Humboldt Soda Works. G.A.K. Hutchinson soda bottles are common, but this seltzer rare 5) Pair of post-prohibition Silver State seltzers. 11.5" tall, with tops, by 4" wide. One bottle missing screw-on cap. Both chrome tops read “Silver State” siphons are intact. Fronts silkscreened in green, “Silver/ State/ Reno” within an outline of Nevada. Also silkscreened “Net Contents Over 32 oz." No maker’s marks. Clear glass, little wear, little staining within the topless bottle, and heavy staining within its partner. This lot includes a green wooden "Humboldt Soda Works" crate.
