Involved with the Carson & Colorado Railroad, Inyo Development Works in Keeler, Southern Improvement Company in Hawthorne, etc. 2) 1871 McMillan & Adams of Virginia City: Sold general merchandise. Large vignette of produce and food. 3) 1895 W. J. Smyth of Empire City: Mill and Mining Supplies. Signed by Smyth. Empire City grew with the Comstock's insatiable need for lumber. 4) 1880 Summit Market & People's Market of Virginia City: Charles Ziegler was the manager and signs at the bottom. Company sold beef, pork, veal, bacon, etc. All kinds of fresh vegetables too. This is for liver orders to the Water Company. 5) 1876 baptism of Sarah Ann Thomas, daughter of George and Mary Thomas.
