Neolithic period large jade axe probably used for ceremonial rituals. The central perforation (Hao) was drilled in a typical Neolithic fashion from both sides and has an uneven meeting point between the drillings (see the book: "Jade, 5000 BC to 1912 AD, Guide to collectors". It dates to Neolithic period (circa 4000 BCE), Liang Zhu culture of coastal China regions. Rare!. Width: 10" (25.5 cm.). Length: 9.5" (24 cm.). Hao diameter: 4" (10 cm.). Estimated value: $20.000.
