Neo-Classical in form Bisque Putto (at least I'm assuming this little Cherub is a male!) brings charm and delight to this hand painted Continental spill vase.

Unmarked, but quality and artistic accomplishment is evident and is painted in a color-wash of pastel hues. The "carriage", which also reminds me of a Roman Chariot, accented with applied bisque roses, has a 2 inch wide open well. Although originally meant to catch dripping wax, this Cherubic cutie would accommodate small jewelry pieces nicely. It would look wonderful on a Vanity or Dressing Table.

Style is reminiscent of French and German works of art from the likes of Sevres and Royal Vienna.

Measures 3 inches long by 3 inches high. Condition is rated as excellent with only age-related base rubbing.
