<B>Nelson A. Miles Autograph Card Signed,</B></I> "<I>Nelson A. Miles Major General comdg U.S. Army</B></I>", 3.75" x 2.25", n.p., ca. late 1890s. Toned paper, excellent condition. Nelson Miles (1839 - 1925) served in the army from the opening days of the Civil War until 1903. Winning a Medal of Honor at Chancelorsville in May, 1863, Miles went on to play a significant role in the Indian Wars after 1865.
