<B>Nellie Fox Memorabilia Archive with Multiple Autographs, Photographs & Uniform Pieces.</B></I> The first ever American League MVP to wear a White Sox uniform, this spunky little Hall of Fame second baseman is best remembered for his dependable glove work and the ever-present wad of tobacco between his cheek and gum. One fan's lifelong collection of Fox artifacts are compiled into this single lot for the collector and dealer alike. Presented are: 1) Circa 1959 salesman's sample Nellie Fox uniform jersey and pants. Tagged "Wilson 36" and "Wilson 32" respectively. White pinstriped flannel exhibits minor age toning but no other flaws of note. 2) Game worn sleeveless undershirt. Number "2" in marker on "Wilson [size] medium" tag, "Fox" written on equipment tape applied above rear hem. Good wear. 3) Seven autographs from Fox encapsulated in PSA/DNA holders. Four in ink, three in pencil. All NRMT or better. 4) 1953 "Little League Celebrity Night" program signed on cover by Fox, Chief Bender and others. Autographs are 9/10 or better, program VG. 5) 1949 Philadelphia Athletics team signed sheet signifying permission for use of images by Sportstamp Company. Autographs include Fox, Al Simmons, Jimmie Dykes. Autographs 9/10 or better, sheet is EX. 6) 1944 Jamestown Falcons team signed index card with Fox (minor league, age seventeen), NRMT. 7) Eight wire photos picturing Fox, dating from 1951 to 1959.
