US Navy Recovery Force postal cover with a stamped cachet honoring the naval recovery force, signed in blue ballpoint. In very good condition, with faint scattered toning and the printed portions of the envelope almost completely faded. Accompanied by the first section of the July 21, 1969, issue of the Washington Post, with the headline reading “’The Eagle Has Landed’—Two Men Walk On The Moon,” and featuring two photos of Armstrong on the moon.
