<B>Neil Armstrong Signed Magazine Photograph.</B></I> One page, 10.5" x 14", np, nd. Signed "<I>Neil Armstrong</B></I>" at bottom. Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon, as well as one of the most recognized and renowned astronauts of all time. This photo is from a magazine, and appears on two pages as a foldout. It shows Michael Collins and Armstrong laughing as they sat in quarantine on the aircraft carrier <I>Hornet.</B></I> After the Apollo 11 mission returned to earth, they were picked up and transferred to a quarantine trailer on the aircraft carrier until they reached Johnson Space Center. This photo shows the jovial mood the men were in after their monumental success. In fine condition, with usual folds present, a hard crease down the center from page break, and moderate loss of ink at edges.
