Neil Armstrong signed cover. The astronaut signs ''Neil Armstrong'' to the Sarzin cover printed with the image of the Apollo 11 crew onboard the U.S.S. Hornet after the Columbia's splashdown. Print reads: ''Pacific Splashdown / Moon Men Recovered. / Enclosed in Isolation Garments / They Step on the Hornet.'' Measures 6.5'' x 3.75''. Discreetly addressed in ink, else near fine. Includes a second returned cover rubber stamped ''Apollo 11 / AS 506 U.S. Navy Recovery Force'' and was cancelled aboard the U.S.S. Hornet on 24 July 1969. Addressed in ink by an unknown hand. Also measures 6.5'' x 3.75''. Near fine.
