Neil Armstrong signed senior yearbook entitled ''The Retrospect 1947'' from Blume High School in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Armstrong transferred to the school in 1944 and while in school, began taking flying lessons a the local airport earning his certificate at age 15. Armstrong poses with a slight smile in a suit and tie in his senior portrait, with a personal quote printed, ''He thinks, he acts, 'tis done'', as well as various activities listed, including student council, Junior Class Play, Band and more. Signed ''Neil A. Armstrong'' in blue ink beneath his short bio. With seven photos of the high school senior in total, including his senior portrait, two band photos, two school council photos, one as Vice President, a ''Retrospect'' yearbook staff photo, and a senior ''Hi-Y'' club photo. Measures 8'' x 10.75''. Minor tear to front cover and light toning. Endpages have been archivally repaired. Very good to near fine.
