<B>Neil Armstrong - Lot of Five Signed First Day Covers</B></I> postmarked September 29, 1967, at the Kennedy Space Center, Florida celebrating the release of Scott #1331-1332. This <I>se tenant</B></I> pair of stamps picture an astronaut walking in space tethered to a Gemini space capsule and commemorate the first U.S. walk in space by Ed White of Gemini 4. Neil Armstrong, of course, was the first human to step foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. He had also been command pilot of Gemini 8. None of these covers are cacheted and all have the stamped address of Dr. Coons beneath the stamps. Four contain a pair of stamps and one has a block of four. Armstrong neatly signed all on the left side in blue ink. Very fine condition. <I>From the estate of Dr. D.
