Dated 15 July 1969, ''Wapakoneta Daily News'' issue features the front page headline, ''Crew rests for 8-day moon shot,'' alongside a photo of the three Apollo 11 astronauts. Also includes fascinating editorial on newspaper's outrage over not receiving approval to attend the Apollo 11 lift-off. 14-page paper, measuring 16'' x 22.5'', has some toning and expected newspaper fold. Near fine condition overall.
