Color satin-finish 10 x 8 photo of Neil Armstrong, Gene Cernan, and George Bush pictured with Dayton businessman Cy Laughter, matted to an overall size of 12.75 x 10.75, signed in ink on the mat by Armstrong, Cernan, and Bush beneath a calligraphic inscription, “To Cy Laughter.” In fine condition with creases to the mat passing through Cernan’s and Bush’s names and the inscription.
This image was taken at a ‘Bogie Busters’ golf tournaments in Ohio—an annual event hosted by Laughter from 1967 to 1991. The event drew many major national celebrities each year—among them future presidents and former moonwalkers. A star-studded presentation, and a one-of-a-kind image of the first and last men on the moon.
