<B>Neal Adams - Marvel Spotlight #2, Werewolf by Night Cover Preliminary Original Art, Color Guide, and Printer's Proof (Marvel, 1972).</B></I> From the origin and first appearance of Jack Russell, Werewolf by Night, comes this landmark piece of magnificent Marvelmania. Nefarious Neal Adams rendered his cover concept sketch in ink and grey tone wash and then Marvel art directors added their comments written in red marker. The sketch includes such remarks as "Remember, it's a <I>kid</B></I> who changes to wolf," and "really sock it to us in this shot." Also included in this piece is a color guide, done on a photostat of Neal Adams' cover art, and a gorgeous printer's proof of the final cover. All in all, these pieces give a remarkable insight into the creation of a Bronze Age bombshell.
